SOUTHEAST REGION
Regional Representative – Susan Fowler susan.fowler@sbcglobal.net

The Southeast Region of the TXMPA emcompasses the fourth largest city in the U.S., Houston. It reaches east to Galveston Island, south to Corpus Christi, north to Nacogdoches and west to Bryan-College Station.

The area’s feature film and television production history is rich and diverse, from the battle scenes in Pearl Harbor and the space frontier of Apollo 13, to the story of legendary music icon Selena and the hard-scrabble Urban Cowboy, to the five Oscar winner Terms of Endearment.

If you make your living in the moving image industry, or want to, or benefit from the industry, or just love film, please JOIN TXMPA in our effort to increase film, video and video game production in Texas. Our industry is in danger, due to large incentives passed by so many other states. Our main objective – leveling the playing field on incentives — can only be achieved through the legislative process. The upcoming legislative session will be CRITICAL in determining our future.
