John Cato has enjoyed performing ever since he was cast as Guiseppe – The Dancing Boy in his 2nd grade Christmas play. After college, he worked as a Maytag salesman in East Texas and soon realized this lonely life was not for him!
In 2007, John was chosen as the Voice for Dell Computers. In addition, John has appeared in numerous voiceover commercials including McDonald’s, Pizza Hut, Coke, DirecTV, Oregon Lottery, Burger King, FedEx/KinkO’s and Tully’s Coffee.
John played a criminal mastermind in the CD-ROM, The UnSolved. He claimed the lead role in the feature film, In the Dead of Winter, and a supporting role in the Houston Film Festival, Best-Picture, Award-Winner, Lost Victories.
When it comes to comedy, John has worked as the warm-up comic for several CBS sitcoms and The Dr. Joy Brown Show. John has also been the voice for various national corporations, including the host of the Shell Oil series, Safe and Secure and the HGTV series, Offbeat America.
John’s favorite hobbies include surfing and playing on the beach with his wife and sons.
