Sharon Murphy, a native Houstonian, began her career in theatre. She was in the first graduating class of the Alley Theatre’s acting program, she worked with several theatres around town and at the young age of 19 moved to L.A. to pursue a film career.
Acting in several shorts and student films in Los Angeles peeked her interest in what goes on behind the camera. After classes at USC, UCLA and the Art Center College of Design in L.A., she returned to Houston to complete her undergraduate degree with plans to pursue a Masters in film. During that time she produced THE LITTLE OLE SHOW on the NBC affiliate in Houston, was an on-air director for the first cable station in Houston and worked at an ad agency.
Life intervened and a marriage and three children turned her into a mom whose passion was film, but just as an audience member.
Years later Sharon returned to the work force and joined Pastorini-Bosby as an agent in training. She was promoted to full agent and remains in that position today with many years of experience, but still learning the continually changing business. Sharon has always loved film and is grateful that she gets to work within the genre almost every day. Sharon has three grown children and 2 grandchildren. She has been on the Board of Directors of the Texas Motion Picture Alliance and is a member or enthusiastic supporter of all organizations supporting film in Texas.
Cindi Davis-Andress, a native Houstonian, is a 1997 graduate of Houston’s High School for the Performing and Visual Arts (HSPVA) theatre program. At HSPVA Cindi was always intrigued by the business aspect of show business. At HSPVA her passion was stage management – a decision that would play a key role in her career as an agent. Cindi began working at Pastorini-Bosby in 1999. While working at the front desk at PB, Cindi attended evening classes at the University of Houston. She graduated from U of H with a degree in Communications.
While most recent college grads were scrambling to figure out what to do with their lives, Cindi always felt fortunate because she knew that choosing to reside in Houston and becoming an agent at PB was where her future was headed.
The decision to dedicate her career to PB was formed by a love for the diversified talent pool and an admiration for the strong relationships between the PB staff and its clients. This was a match made in heaven.
In 2015, Cindi became a partner and agency president.
Cindi resides in Houston with her husband and 2 rat terriers, Cotton and Tootsie.
She is an active member of the American Marketing Association (AMA) and the Houston Advertising Federation (HAF).[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner el_class=”row”][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]
