The Texas Motion Picture Alliance (TXMPA) is a nonprofit 501(c)(6) organization founded in Austin on June 16, 2006 to become the advocate for the film, video, interactive and digital media production industries in the Lone Star State. TXMPA is committed to building a strong community of industry professionals and to support legislation that benefits our industry. TXMPA is also committed to educating the general public about our businesses and how we impact their lives through the hundreds of millions of dollars our productions pump into the economy.
The new Texas Production Incentive offers qualifying feature films, television programs, commercials, video games, and stand-alone post-production/finishing projects the opportunity to receive a payment of 5-15% of eligible Texas spending upon completion of a review of their Texas expenditures. Both live-action and animated projects are eligible. This incentive program is in addition to Texas’s Sales Tax Exemptions.
* except reality television and talk shows.
For stand-alone post-production / finishing projects for film, television and commercials.

Regional Representative – Susan Fowler email@example.com
The Southeast Region of the TXMPA emcompasses the fourth largest city in the U.S., Houston. It reaches east to Galveston Island, south to Corpus Christi, north to Nacogdoches and west to Bryan-College Station.
The area’s feature film and television production history is rich and diverse, from the battle scenes in Pearl Harbor and the space frontier of Apollo 13, to the story of legendary music icon Selena and the hard-scrabble Urban Cowboy, to the five Oscar winner Terms of Endearment.
If you make your living in the moving image industry, or want to, or benefit from the industry, or just love film, please JOIN TXMPA in our effort to increase film, video and video game production in Texas. Our industry is in danger, due to large incentives passed by so many other states. Our main objective – leveling the playing field on incentives — can only be achieved through the legislative process. The upcoming legislative session will be CRITICAL in determining our future.
