ONLINE TELEPROMPTER - YOUR AUDITION SOLUTION? We were just recently turned on to the website CuePrompter.com, and thought it was worth passing along to our talent.
CuePrompter.com is a free online teleprompter. It works on any computer and your browser acts as the teleprompter. You can write or cut and paste your script, press a button and the prompter starts. It has adjustable speed and scrolling and two text sizes and colors.
There is some preparation involved. If you wanted to use it for an audition at our office you would need to most definitely practice beforehand to get your script loaded, speed set and ready to go.
With your laptop and our Wi-Fi, this could be a viable alternative for those auditions where we are given short notice.

Pastorini-Bosby actor DEKE ANDERSON has been cast in THE GREEN LANTERN currently shooting in Louisiana. The closely guarded DC Entertainment/Warner Bros Pictures’ script involves a test pilot who is granted a mystical green ring that bestows him with otherworldly powers, as well as membership into an intergalactic squadron tasked with keeping peace within the universe. PB Actors Brandon Smith and Garrett Graham have been cast in the FOX pilot MIDLAND, directed by Marc Webb. The new drama series, currently shooting in Dallas, TX, stars Oscar winner Jon Voight and David Keith. It follows a con artist juggling his complicated double life, between two Texas cities and two women. Congratulations Brandon and Garrett!

The Source for Women of Houston seeks to empower women to make informed choices in their lives. They provide services in Therapeutic Counseling, Educational Services and Reproductive Health Counseling.

SHOOT IT IN TEXAS!Moviemaking, Commercials and Video game production in Texas has spiked ever since Texas Film Production Incentives were enacted: $427 million worth of production and more than 37,000 cast & crew jobs in the past 10 months! The entire Texas economy benefits -- it’s called the “multiplier effect.”
This economic boom could evaporate just as suddenly as it arrived. Due to projected shortfalls in state revenues, the incentives program may soon be eliminated.
The Texas Motion Picture Alliance (www.txmpa.org) is fighting to save Film Production Incentive in Texas. We need money to help us measure these economic benefits and get the word out to legislators. Please help us rescue this win-win initiative! Let’s keep these jobs here!

Cindy will be portraying the character “DANIELLE MATTINGLY” a case worker trying to help “Destiny” (Lead) a 12 year old foster child. This film shoots in Louisiana. Jennifer Garner is signed on as one of the Exec. Producers and Jim Field-Smith from projects such as “She’s out of my League” will be directing this film! The staff at PB is proud and excited!
