PB Talent's David La Duca Stars in 'The Wannabes' a Series Airing on Starz Starting September 5th

The Wannabes is a teen musical series starring PB Talent's David LaDuca as Mr. Pesckow, the principal and headmaster of the esteemed Highlands Academy of the Arts. He makes life hard on the few students who want to be pop stars instead of focusing on what he considers to be the fine arts. The Wannabes will be airing every Monday-Thursday at 4pm on Starz starting September 5th. Synopsis: The Wannabes follows six high school students at an upscale classical arts academy that scoffs at their dreams of becoming pop singing sensations. After the principal catches the group performing in the student lounge, he sentences them to one week of detention – working for free at a local café. Fortunately for these wannabe pop stars, the daughter of the café owner shares their dreams and talks her dad into letting them all rock out at the café. Her dad agrees, but has his own ideas about how to use their musical talents for his own profit, making them wear various costumes to promote his latest smoothie creations. Fruit attire and all, the band is a hit, and they are booked to perform every week.

For over twenty years, national make-up artist Victoria Callaway has worked with thousands of different faces and many personalities from all walks of life. She has discovered the best way to bring out each individual's beauty while working with real people, sports stars, celebrities, First Ladies and Presidents. Victoria uses her warmth, charm and amazing talent to put people at ease. Her special make-up technique, innate knowledge of skin and faces, and infective humor make
Victoria one of the most sought after make-up artists in the industry.

(Airbrush makeup kits that include airbrush, base and blush for $175 will be available for purchase after the workshop.)

"HD is mainstream and HD doesn't lie. Often, I receive feedback on an actor's makeup that is not positive. The actor's look didn't change, but the technology did. The same makeup and technique that worked 2 years ago, may not work today. The key is to adjust to the current rules that govern how you look in HD. It is to every actors advantage to learn the makeup tips and tricks that will help them look better, feel better and hopefully book the job." Cindi Davis-Andress, Pastorini-Bosby Talent Agency
