DAVID LADUCA LANDS ROLE OF PRINCIPAL ON THE WANNABES
Pastorini-Bosby Talent is awaiting final contract and start date for our talent DAVID LADUCA to begin his co-starring role in the episodic series THE WANNABES. David will be playing the principal of a stuffy classical arts academy where a group of students, played by Texas pop recording stars, "Savvy," are trying to succeed "undercover" in the pop world. Ron Stern and Chris LeMaire of Stern-LeMaire Productions, Inc. are executive producers. Creator and executive producer is Doreen Spicer-Dannaley best know for Disney film "Jump In" and the"Proud Family" series. One of Disney's most sought after director's, Eric Dean Seaton adds to this all-star production team. Twenty-six episodes are set to be shot in Howell, Michigan over the next 7-8 months. LeMaire stated, "David LaDuca blew us all away with his great humor and talent while filming the pilot. We Mourn the Loss of Louise Geerts
Louise Geerts passed away July 2, 2009 in Houston, Texas. She was born January 31, 1945 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She studied nursing at the University of Houston. Louise was the Assistant Executive Vice President of the Harris County Medical Society and worked there for 38 yrs. For the past 5 years she has also served as the Executive Director of the Galveston County Medical Society. Louise was a professional actress in theatre and film. She had a passion for nurturing her grandchildren and volunteering to help those in need. She enjoyed music, gardening and fishing.
She was preceded in death by her parents Alvie & Ruth Yandell and a brother, Larry Yandell. Survivors include her husband, Vic Geerts; children, Doug (Brandy) Winner, Clay Winner, Vic Geerts Jr., Tammy Leibham & Adam Geerts; grandchildren, Alexis, Dylan, Kristen, Mitchell, Hannah, Jacob & Karis; brother, Dellson (Ellen) Yandell; sister, Bonita (Marshall) Riedel; sister-in-law Connie Yandell; nieces & nephews, John, Mac, Glenn, Cynthia & Cody and numerous other relatives, friends and co-workers.
A reception will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., with a Celebration of Life Service at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at the John P. McGovern Museum of Health & Medical Science, 1515 Hermann Dr., Houston, TX 77004.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Myelodysplastic Syndrome Foundation www.mds-foundation.org or the The Luke Society, 518 White Oak Pointe, League City, TX 77573.
